Great post! I posted something similar on my blog about how expensive cable TV really is and how little I actually use it. Right now, I got a nice deal on my TV and internet, but I’ll definitely re-evaluate when the price goes back to normal in six months.

This is a fantastic number-crunching guide! Right now, because I don’t own a TV or have a computer with a working disk drive, I use the even cheaper alternative: hang out with my sister who has Netflix. But this article is making me think that once I’m at a point in my life where I want a TV again, I might just skip it and stick with instant play!

Great Netflix guide! We’ll be dropping cable within the next couple of months, and this definitely gives me something to think about. Of course, I’ll probably check out the library’s selection before committing to Netflix because the library is free, but I know the library’s selection isn’t nearly as extensive as Netflix’s. Thanks for the info!
