Monthly Budget: December 2009
Below are my budgeted expenses for December. I’ll compare it to my actual expenses at the end of the month.
Fixed Expenses
Rent: $535
Discover: $150
Student Loan: $162
Cell Phone: $75 – It better be this month!
Progressive: $120
Netflix: $10
Bills/Utilities: $175 – Our heat bill fluctuates so much in the wintertime. (Girls are always cold!)
Car Payment: $500 – Trying to pay this thing off at the end of January
Variable Expenses
Gifts: $300 – I hope this is an overestimate.
Gas: $200 – Family visits.
Groceries: $200
Entertainment: $125
Shopping: $100
Restaurants: $75
Bars: $25
Beauty/Hygiene: $20
Total Budgeted Expenses: $2,772

Dec 03, 09 at 12:46 pmYes, I share a three bedroom townhouse with two other girls. Most of the one-bedroom apartmentss in this area are about $1000/mo so being able to split the rent and utilities three-ways definitely helps!
